Alan Michael Klyk, age 62, of 435 Stoneville Road, Ishpeming and formerly of Trenary, died following a lengthy illness on Monday morning, August 4, 2014 at the Mather Nursing Center in Ishpeming where he had resided the past nine years. Al was born on April 19, 1952 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Zigmund and Loretta (Stevens) Klyk. He married Patricia D. Green on March 3, 1972.
He is survived by his wife of over forty-two years - Patricia Klyk of Marquette; their children - Shelly Klyk of Florida, Stacey (Christian) Young of Manistique, Jenny (Tim Prisk) Klyk of Marquette, and Brandon (Kira Enders) Klyk of Florida; grandchildren - Jordan Klyk, Avery Nachtman, Landyn Klyk, Branden (Samantha) Klyk, Christian (Connie Chaperon) Vitale, Mackenzie (Hannah Reno) Richmond, Hunter Richmond, Cadence Richmond, Tyler Kienitz, Alana Kienitz, Logan Zorza, and Jaelynn Klyk; great-grandchildren - Jaidyn Quayle, Jaxon, Klyk, and Remington Vitale; sisters - Gail McLachlin, Sheila (Dale) Chiarelli, and Doreen Ross. Al was preceded in death by his parents Zigmund and Loretta Klyk, parents-in-law - Willodean and Chester Green, and brother-in-law Robert Ross.
