Alice Marie Hilleweart

Alice Marie Hilleweart, age 83, of Gwinn, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, April 25, 2017.  She made the transition from life to everlasting life, surrounded by the love of her family.

Alice was ma, grandma, and great-grandma to Cordelia Miller and numerous grand and great-grandchildren. She was also survived by her sister Mary Attwell.

Everything Alice did she did with passion.  Her thumb was green and she loved her plants and gardens, and you could see it as they flourished.

Alice was a volunteer most of her life and she loved giving.  She crocheted blankets and made quilts and gave to those who needed them.  Alice loved the thrift stores, playing rummy, and animals.  She was a friend to so many, and left a beautiful legacy that will never be forgotten.

Alice's family would like to thank the caring staff at Lake Superior Hospice for the compassionate care they provided.
