Anthony "Tony" Schall, age 85, former longtime resident of the Superior Health Haven, died on Sunday, May 5, 2013 in Hancock, Michigan. He was born on June 11, 1927 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Anthony and Mary (Pachovich) Schall. Tony was raised in Detroit and at the age of sixteen moved to Garden City. He lived in Wayne, Dearborn Heights, Willis, Rock, and then Munising in 2006. Tony worked at Ford Motor Company and then for a flooring company in Ann Arbor. He was ordained in California as a minster of the Ministry Salvation and then returned to the Catholic Church. Tony enjoyed reading the Bible, taking pictures, and spending time at the Salvation Army. He is survived by family members in Lower Michigan and was preceded in death by his parents and siblings.
Deacon Tom Moseley will conduct graveside services in the northwest area of the Maple Grove Cemetery in Munising on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at 12:30 p.m.
