  Becky Lynn Matlock, age 69, of Gwinn and formerly of Trenary and Evansville, Indiana, died Thursday, June 6, 2024 at UPHS – Marquette. Becky was born on June 22, 1954. She was raised in Evansville by her parents Henry and June Geuss. Becky met Robert Storch Sr. moved to Trenary, Michigan and raised their young family there. She worked at the Trenary Bakery, Trenary Tavern, and cooked at Grandma’s Restaurant in Rapid River. Becky married David Matlock in 1999 and they moved back to Evansville. David preceded her in death in 2006. Becky enjoyed playing BINGO, being with her children and grandchildren, and caring for her many cats. She was a generous soul and great neighbor. Becky was always willing to take someone in who needed a place to stay, lend a hand to help, or give to someone in need even though she did not have much for herself. She was a little stubborn about certain things, but she always had her kids’ best intensions on her mind.
  Becky is survived by her children – Larry (Norma) Dick of Munising, Lorie (Donald) Evans of Evansville, Robert (Erin Kiraly) Storch, Jr. of Trenary, and Jeremy Storch of Trenary; grandchildren – Carly (Alex) White, Matthew Lindquist, Lydia Dick, Jodie Yang, Aaron Hodges, and Dakota (Alyssa Fedak) Storch; great-grandchildren – Alice and Jay Yang, Mason and Cami Storch, and Alecia Fedak; sisters – Linda (Mike) Williams of Poseyville, IN and Cindy (Randy) Loman of Evansville; several nieces and nephews; and special friends – Kevin Birch and Starla and Olivia Murphy. She was preceded in death by her parents and Henry and June Geuss and husband, David Matlock.
  A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2024 in Trenary at Jeremy’s home from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m.
