Bernadette Anne Deisenroth

August 5, 1921 — October 27, 2007

Munising
On October 27th, 2007, Bernadette Ann Deisenroth, 86, mother and friend, has left us to be reunited with her husband Charles, who preceded her in death 20 years ago on July 27th. As a deeply spiritual person, she was confident of where they would meet again.
Born in Minneapolis on August 5th, 1921 to Louis & Harriet Koenig, parents of her brothers Virgil and Louis & her sister Doris, all preceding her in death. Bernie wed Charles, and their marriage was blessed with four surviving children & their spouses: Carolyn (Kress) and husband John, Linda (Plummer) & husband David, son John and wife Julie, son Donald & wife Karen.
Mom couldn't get enough of her children, 15 grand children, 14 great grandchildren, and 7 great, great grandchildren. Mom always had time for the children. Family was first but there was always time everyone.
Bernie was a life long homemaker and a good neighbor who recently joined the Women of the Moose where she enjoyed "seniority" and camaraderie with her many new friends. Bernie was a truly generous & kind person taking great delight in conversation & charitable activity. Easy to banter with but tough to outshine. Always willing to help long before being asked. Our lives are better for having known you. We will miss you.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. at the Moose Lodge in Munising. Services will also be held on Friday in Farmington Hills with interment at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to North Woods Home Nursing & Hospice, 129 E. Superior St. Munising, MI 49862
