Munising
Bernadine Nola Allie "Bing", 81, of Munising had a great day Saturday, March 8. visiting her daughter, grandson and two great granddaughters. We brought peace and joy to her day talking to her and watching the kids play, we laughed and smiled. It was time to leave, granny gave the kids hugs and told them, I love you, they replied back, I love you. Christopher and I helped her back to bed, we hugged her and said I love you and said goodbye. Bernadine was so tired she finally went to sleep. I am so glad we brought her peace before she went to sleep.
Bernadine loved the outdoors walking, camping, hiking, cross-country skiing, snow showing, and kayaking. She also enjoyed gardening, baking good treats that I continue to bake for my family and others to enjoy. Mom also enjoyed visiting the grand kids.
Bernadine died at home unexpectedly Sunday March 9, 2014. She was born January 21, 1933 to the late Edmund and Ora (Carrier) Allie. She is survived by her five children - Rod (Luanne), Greg (Vicki), Renee Bernard, Bruce, and Todd Beaudry. Ten grandchildren, and twenty-seven great grandchildren; Sisters Pat Allie, Ora Diem, and Frances Braun and numerous nieces and nephews.
Bernadine was preceded in death by her parents; siblings Raymond, Genevieve, Gerald, Eddie, Marylyn, Laurell, Lorraine, Edwina, baby boy Allie, daughter-in-law Pat (Rozek) Beaudry.
Thank you Pat, Nancy, and Kelly for all you have done for Bernadine.
