Carmella Bonner, age 40, of Munising, died unexpectedly Friday morning, July 27, 2007, at Marquette General Hospital. She was born August 20, 1966 to Judy (nee Sherwood) and George Lloyd. Carmella graduated from Munising High School in 1984. She married Tom Bonner on October 11, 1986 and together they raised their three sons. Carmella enjoyed crocheting, baking, and spending time with her family.
Carmella is survived by her husband of over twenty years - Tom Bonner of Christmas; two sons - David and Brian Bonner of Christmas; mother - Judy Lloyd; sister - Stacey (Charlie) Lohr of Munising; mother-in-law - Eleanor Bonner-Goss; brothers and sisters-in-law - Jim Bonner of Ohio, Norman "Sonny" (Sheila) Bonner, Joe (Katie) Bonner, Mary (Shawn) Flinn, Debbie (Bill) MacArthur all of Munising; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son - Matthew Thomas Bonner on July 15, 1997; father - George Lloyd; and father-in-law Norman Bonner.
Carmella's visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Monday July 30, 2007 at the Bowerman Funeral Home in Munising. Her funeral service will be officiated by Fr. Chris Gardiner at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home's chapel. Interment will be at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Munising and she will be escorted by David, Brian, Joe, Jim, and Sonny Bonner, Billy MacArthur, and Jerry Goss.
