Carol Sue (Jacobs) Chartier

Carol Sue Chartier, age 77, of Manistique, died following a lengthy illness on Wednesday morning, September 2, 2020 at Medilodge in Munising.  She was born in San Diego, California and lived throughout California, Nevada, Washington, and Michigan throughout her life.   Carol's work history included working at Timber Products in Munising and working for home health, and managing Hardees in Manistique.  Carol worked until her health prevented her from doing so.  She married Daniel J. Chartier on April 6, 1991.  Carol loved the outdoors, traveling, painting when she was younger, and she had a soft spot for animals -  especially strays.

Carol is survived by her husband of over twenty-nine years – Dan Chartier of Manistique; three daughters – Tracy (Dave Craig) Byrne of Pittsburgh, PA, Toni (Michael Jones) Smith of Erie, PA, and Tammy (John) Bush of Fredericksburg, VA; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and brothers Gary Jacobs and Joe Romel.  She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Patrick Jacobs.
