Charles "Chuck" Edward Horsley

Charles Edward “Chuck” Horsley, age 71, of Munising, passed away on Friday, June 24, 2016 at his residence.

Mr. Horsley was born February 2, 1945 in Mattoon, Illinois, a son of Jack and Sallie (Kelley) Horsley.  He was preceded in death by his wife of many years, Mary Jane (Harvey/Shoaf) Horsley and his parents.  He is survived by his only sister, Pamela and her husband James R. Livesay II of Mattoon, IL.

Mr. Horsley earned his bachelor degree from Southern Illinois University.  He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army and was a decorated Vietnam Veteran.  His affiliations included the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and he was a Master Mason.  Prior to his retirement, he was involved in the home and commercial building industry for many decades.

Private family memorial services honoring Mr. Horsley’s life will be held at a later date in Mattoon.
