Cheryl A. Livermore, age 56, of Shingleton, died Saturday morning, November 13, 2021, at her home under the loving care of her family, dear friend Melanie (Corp) Reitano, and North Woods Home Hospice following a three-week illness. She was born on June 13, 1965 in Munising to the late Charles “Cedar” and Fern (King) Paulsen. Cheryl grew up in Munising and graduated from Munising High School in 1984. She worked as a cook in local restaurants and cleaned hotel rooms. Cheryl married Donald E. Livermore in July of 1991. She was a member of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians and a past member of the Moose Lodge. Cheryl enjoyed spending time with family, gardening, and sitting on her porch watching birds, deer, and other wildlife.
She is survived by her husband of over thirty years – Don Livermore of Shingleton; stepdaughters – Rebecca and Lynn; seven grandchildren; mother-in-law - Naomi Livermore; siblings and in-laws – Charles (Bernice) Paulsen, Cary “Ket” (Mary Lou) Paulsen, Camie Paulsen, Rick Nikunen, Ruth (Steve) Makinen, D.J. (Chad) Paulsen, Robert (Aileen) Livermore, Dennis Livermore (Rose), Dustin Livemore, and Randy (Kim) Livermore; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, stepson Christopher Bond, sister Charlotte Nikunen, and infant brother Bruce Paulsen.
