Clifford Leo McNally

November 19, 1986 — November 5, 2015

Clifford Leo McNally, age 28, of N7392 Monette Road, Munising, died unexpectedly on Thursday afternoon, November 5, 2015. He was born on November 19, 1986 in Munising to Everet and Anne (MacArthur) McNally. Clifford was raised in Munising and attended school here. From the age of three, Clifford loved sports. He would watch and admire the older kids through the window and always strived to do his best in football, basketball, and softball. Cliff graduated from Munising High School in 2006. While growing up, he enjoyed traveling with his family to races while his dad raced. It was on those weekends where he developed a love for engines. Clifford's mom called him "her 100 mile per hour kid who was a nice little grease monkey." He was a sawyer in the woods and loved his heavy equipment operator job with G.A.D. Clifford had a "social butterfly" type of personality and when he cooked and was on the wait staff at the casino and Navigator, he always got along well with his customers. Along with being a social butterfly, Clifford was a giant flirt. He enjoyed hunting, snowmobiling, and golfing. Clifford also won an MMA Featherweight 140 pound title.

He is survived by his parents - Everet and Anne McNally of Munising; brothers - Colin (Brieanna) McNally of Munising and Michael McNally of Munising; sister - Pami Jean (D.J.) Doherty of Escanaba; nephews - Quentin, Brody, Kelvin, and Logan; grandfather - Leo MacArthur of Munising; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Clifford was preceded in death by his grandparents Clifford and Marilyn McNally and Jackie MacArthur, "uncle" Dennis Fetterhoff and aunt Susan McNally.

Visitation will be held at the Bowerman Funeral Home on Monday evening from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Clifford's funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2105 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home and will be conducted by his cousin, Pastor John Fetterhoff. There will be a potluck fellowship gathering at the American Legion following the funeral service.
