Daniel J. Caldwell

Daniel J. “Dan” Caldwell, age 40, of Munising, died Tuesday, September 13, 2022.  He was born on January 23, 1982 to Patricia LeVeque and Eugene F. Caldwell. Dan grew up in Munising and enjoyed playing football and video games.  He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting, fishing, and camping.  Dan was a talented back yard mechanic and builder.  Dan loved spending time with his kids and his best friend Porthos the pit-bull.

He is survived by his wife – Nicole Grable; children – Kenny, Conner, and Trinity Caldwell, Laura and Micaila Syers, and Serena and Benjamin Matzen; mother – Patty LeVeque; brother – Brian Caldwell; grandfather – Gene Caldwell; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Dan was preceded in death by his father – Eugene Caldwell; and grandparents – Kenneth “Lefty” and Bonnie LeVeque.

Private family services were held.
