Daniel Emmett McConville

 Daniel Emmett McConville was born on September 24, 1947 and entered eternal life on Saturday, July 27, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents John McConville of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and his mother Colleen (Cornish) Miklos. Dan is survived by his daughters Jessica Leah Pesola of Marquette and Joana Marvelle Duquette of Troy, Michigan, as well as his sister Diane Thomason, and her children Krista Carter and Danny Lee Bechtol. Dan also leaves behind many valued friends and family members.

Dan spent most of his working career in Valdez, Alaska as an Occupational Therapist. He loved to travel and visited many countries over his lifetime. After retirement, Dan moved to Jaco, Costa Rica for a number of years but always came back to visit his hometown of Munising, Michigan. He spent the last years of his life in Munising fishing with his best friend Tom Kusmirek in the rivers and lakes of beautiful Upper Michigan. 

 A celebration of life will be planned for a later date.
