Daniel Tecumseh Singer III, age 31, of Munising and formerly of Fenton, MI, died Thursday, June 22, 2023 at UP Health Systems – Marquette following years of complications due to an accident.  He was born in Pontiac, MI on November 18, 1991 to Daniel and Lisa (Monhead) Singer, Jr.  Daniel grew up in Fenton and was a standout football star for the Fenton Tigers.  Following an injury, Daniel was not able to compete in football his senior year.  He transferred to Heartland High School and was a graduate of the Class of 2010.  Following school Daniel became a father to his son Dallas and two years later his daughter Ava.  The two of them were his greatest joy and love.  He began working for Rashid Roofing in Milford and worked on countless homes in the area.  Daniel enjoyed fishing, football, video games, and dancing.  Another passion of his was riding his dirt-bike.  He loved riding the trails and flying over jumps.  In 2016 while riding, Daniel received spinal cord injuries that took the use of his legs.  Although people referred to this as his accident, he would quickly let you know “It was not an accident, I landed the jump!”  Daniel found new hobbies that he became quite good at.  He began whittling wood and wood burning projects and learned how to make stained glass.  He also was a great cook making the best chicken parmesan and was the “keeper of the flame” when it came to grilling.  Daniel was meticulous in his crafts and took the extra time to make his meals, but it was worth the wait.  Daniel had a wicked sense of humor and was the life of the party wherever he was.

He is survived by his children – Dallas Allen and Ava Rose Singer; mother – Lisa Singer of Munising; father – Daniel T. Singer, Jr. of Howell, MI; sibling – Tabitha (Ryan) Farrington, Luke (Alyssa Adkinson) Singer, Sarah (Devon Leech) Singer, Josiah Singer, Desiree Singer, and Destiny Singer; nieces and nephews – Trinity, Leah, Greyson, Ezra, and Izaiah; aunts and uncles – Frank Monhead, Tammy Monhead, Lou Ann Singer, and Peggy Graham.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents – Judy and Ernie Monhead and Louise Zielinski and Daniel T. Singer, Sr. and uncle Jim Monhead.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at Maple Grove Cemetery in Munising at 2:00 p.m.
