Debra "Debbie" Marie St.Amour

Debra “Debbie” Marie St.Amour, age 67, of Munising, died following a lengthy illness on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at Medilodge in Munising. She was born on October 14, 1957 in Munising to the late Leonard and Agnes (Gerow) St.Amour. Debbie grew up in Munising and graduated from Wm. G. Mather High School in 1975. She earned her Associates Degree in Technology from Northern Michigan University in 1982 and then her Bachelor of Science from NMU in 1985. Debbie was a dietician and worked in the health care field for many years. She loved her family and was very close to her nieces, nephews, and greats. Debbie enjoyed spending time with her friends, and together they won many Trivia Night matches. She had a witty personality and spoiled her dogs rotten. She loved them, even though no one else did.

 Debbie is survived by her sister – Marie St.Amour of Munising; brother – Don St.Amour of Ishpeming; daughter – Tina Wells; granddaughter – Allysson Irene Wells; nieces and nephews – Kathi (Al) Quattrin, Mike (Indol) Hayes, Pat Hayes, Sean (Jamie) Hayes, Jeanette St.Amour, Lenny St.Amour, Brian (Kristina) St.Amour, Darren (Esther) St.Amour, Theresa St.Amour, Michelle St.Amour-Smith, and Cindy St.Amour; and numerous great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Leonard and Agnes, brothers David (Janeen) St.Amour and Richard (Kay) St.Amour, granddaughter Alexis Marie Fuller, niece Lori Hayes, nephew Brad St.Amour, great niece Jennifer Hayes-Nedeau, and great nephews Benjamin Hayes and Christopher Hayes.

Graveside services will be held at a later date at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Munising.
