Emma Jo Latvala, ten day old infant daughter of Alicia Lowder and Francis "Sam" Latvala, died on Thursday evening, May 29, 2008 at Marquette General Hospital. She was born on May 19, 2008 at 23 weeks gestation in Marquette. She is survived by her parents Alicia and Sam, grandparents Carol Latvala of Trenary, Itanna (John) Dartt of Trenary, Steve (Angie) Lowder of Bangor, MI and Luann (Rick) Reeves of Berrien Springs, MI, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Emma was preceded in death by her grandfather Francis "Sam" Latvala, Sr.
Graveside services will be conducted by Rev. Leon Jarvis on Sunday, June 1, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Mathias Township Cemetery in Trenary.
