Franklin "Frank" D. Cassel, age 70, of Limestone, died on Saturday morning, March 21, 2015 at U.P. Health System in Marquette, Michigan. He was born on June 17, 1944 in Milwaukee to the late Stanley "Scotty" and Florence (Allen) Cassel. Frank grew up in Milwaukee, married, and raised his family while he worked as an over the road truck driver. Frank loved his retirement in the Limestone area. He was very social and could make friends everywhere he went. Frank enjoyed traveling, being outdoors, and playing bingo. He was the "MacGyver" of the family and could fix or make anything with duct tape, sticks, and drywall screws.
He is survived by his children - Kim Cassel of Limestone, Frank (Angela) Cassel of Beaver Dam, WI, and Nikki Cassel of Limestone; close and special family member - Ashlee Watson; grandsons - Tyler and Cody; brother - Stanley Cassel of Milwaukee; nieces - Paula and Dawn; and nephew - Victor. Frank was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Darlene Cassel and Hazel Cassel.
A private family memorial service will be held.
