Gregory James Reffruschinni, age 62, of Kingsford and formerly of Munising, died on Thursday, August 6, 2015 in Wetmore. He was born on May 2, 1953 in Lansing to the late Joseph and Shirley (Mellin) Reffruschinni. Greg grew up in Munising and graduated from Wm. G. Mather High School in 1971. He married Vickie Nelson and together they had two children. Greg began school at Lake Superior State and then finished his accounting degree at Northern Michigan University. He married Molly Twa in 1991 and they lived in Marquette, Ohio, and then Kingsford while he worked as an accountant for the U.S. Department of Defense. Greg retired from the V.A. Hospital in Iron Mountain. He was a proud member of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians and served on the Native American Fish and Wildlife committee for many years. Greg loved fishing, hunting, playing cribbage and euchre, and spending time at Camp North Branch and on Dana Lake. Greg and Molly also enjoyed spending their winters in Vero Beach, Florida and playing with their collies, Spencer and Katy Lynn.

He is survived by his wife Molly of Kingsford; son - Greg (Kelly Mannisto) Reffruschinni of Christmas; daughter - Angela (Jack) Gould of Manistique; grandchildren - Carly, Alex, Gregory, and Nicholas; great-grandson - Braydon; stepsons - Tony (Christina ) Redman of Austin, TX and Patrick (Michelle) Redman of Northville, MI; step-grandchildren - Calvin, Waylon, Avery, Sienna, and Reese; sister - Jeani (Ashly) Reffruschinni-Erlichman of Sault Ste. Marie; nieces and nephews - Joe, Ashley, and Amber; great-nieces and nephews - Kasen, Kalin, Colin, Maci, and Kylyn; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A private family memorial was held at the Bowerman Funeral Home and a gathering for friends will be held at a later date.
