D. Jack Flynn
Trenary
Donald Jack Flynn, passed away on May 13, 2012. He was born in Detroit to Clarence and Elsie (Rama) Flynn on July 26, 1941. He was a 1959 graduate of Trenary High School. Jack traveled the state of Michigan working as a heavy equipment operator. He was a member of Local 324 Operating Engineers for forty-two years. Jack had been a resident of the Superior Health Haven the past twenty years.
He was preceded in death by parents - Clarence and Elsie Flynn; son - Michael Flynn; brother - Kenneth; sister - Penny Trobridge; and nephew - Craig Trobridge. Jack is survived by two daughters - Mary Jo (Dave) Webb of Glendale, AZ and Candy (Shawn) Roller of Reed City, MI; brother - Gary (Yvonne) Flynn of Trenary; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; aunt - Ruby Daley of Washington; nephew - Casey Trobridge; and special and devoted friend - July Henderson of Trenary.
Jack loved all sports. He loved basketball and proved his skill of the game to others many times. He was an avid fan of the Detroit Tigers and especially the Detroit Lions.
To honor Mr. Flynn's wishes, there will be no public service. Those wishing to make a donation of any sort, may direct them to the Superior Health Haven in Munising.
The family and friends of Jack wish to thank Lisa Peters and staff of the Superior Health Haven for their long and loving care of him over these many years with special consideration to Theresa and Stacey.
