Jennifer M. (Hase) McGlone

Jennifer M. Hase-McGlone, age 43, of Traverse City, and formerly of Munising and Manistique, died Thursday, June 29, 2023 in Buckley, Michigan.  She was born on November 14, 1979 in Munising, Michigan, the daughter of Patricia (Hall) Aho and Paul Hase.   Jen moved to Manistique in third grade.  She played basketball and volleyball for the Emeralds and graduated in 1999.  Jen became a mother to her first son Bryce and then moved to Gaylord.  Eight years later she welcomed her second son Owen.  Jennifer earned her LPN degree from Kirtland Community College in Grayling.  She worked many years as a nurse caring for patients at the hospital in Gaylord, multiple nursing homes, and as a home health nurse.  She enjoyed the outdoors, especially hiking and fishing.  She loved her boys with all her heart and would do anything for them.  She was a kind, caring, and giving woman.

Jennifer is survived by her loving sons – Bryce and Owen McGlone; mom – Patricia Aho; dad – Paul Hase; siblings – Deanna Hase, Nick Hase, Taryn (Jason) Pierce, Derek (Michelle) Aho, and Brandon Aho; loving grandma – Betty Hall; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and her friends who were very dear to her.  She was preceded in death by her loving stepfather – Greg Aho, grandparents – Blinn Hall and Don and Loraine Hase, uncle – Don Hase, aunt – Candy Duer, and cousin D.J. Hase.

“Her memory will live in our hearts forever.  We will continue to cherish the wonderful memories we shared with her.  We find comfort knowing she is now at peace in heaven and someone so special will never be forgotten.  We love you Jen.  ❤️

A graveside service will be on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at 2:00  p.m at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Munising.  A gathering of family and friends will follow at the V.V.A. in Christmas following the service at the cemetery.
