Munising
Joseph Anthony Paluch, age 82, resident of the Superior Health Haven in Munising, died on Wednesday, August 8, 2007 at 12:45 a.m. at Marquette General Hospital following a lengthy illness. Joe was born on November 24, 1924 in Munising to the late Frank and Agnes (Safine) Paluch. He worked in Detroit for R.C. Mahon and retired from Lear Corporation in 1991 when he returned to Munising. Joe loved sports and enjoyed following the Detroit Lions, Red Wings, Tigers and Pistons.
Joe is survived by his nephew - John (Linda) Trzeciak of Munising, niece - Diane (Donald) Nord of Nevins Lake, other nieces and nephews, and numerous great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers - Steven, John, and Victor, and four sisters - Genevieve Trzeciak, Helen, Mary, and Jan Magdziak of Poland.
Visitation for Joe will be held at the Bowerman Funeral Home on Friday from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Father Chris Gardiner will conduct his funeral service on Saturday, August 11, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home's chapel.
