Judith Ann "Judy" Lloyd, age 67, of Munising, died Saturday, August 18, 2012 at Marquette General Hospital following a brief illness. She was born on December 5, 1944 in Munising to the late Alex and Frances Sherwood . She married George R. Lloyd on February 11, 1966. Judy enjoyed making crafts, gardening, bingo, cookouts and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed spending time at the Drop-in-Center and at Commission on Aging and was a member at the Wesleyan Church.
Judy is survived by her daughter and son-in-law - Stacey and Charles Lohr; son-in law- Tom Bonner; four grandsons; one great-granddaughter; sisters - Pauline Gilbertson and Lucile Livermore; brothers - Russ and Kenny Sherwood; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband - George; parents - Alex and Frances; daughter - Carmella Bonner; grandson - Mathew Bonner; brother - Jimmy Syers; sisters - Nora Sherwood and an infant sister.
Visitation will be on Friday, August 24, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the Bowerman Funeral Home. Pastor Robert Tripp will conduct Judy's funeral at Noon at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.
