June (Ylitalo) Tanner, age 51, passed away February 17, 2011, after a short stay at the Banner Stroke Center and Hospice of the Valley in Mesa, AZ. She lived in both Munising and Chatham, MI before residing in Apache Jct., AZ. June is survived by her daughter - Ashley Brisson; mother - Alice Reynolds of Chatham; uncles, aunts, and cousins in various states - Phyllis (John) Trudeau of MI, Jack (Elina) Ylitalo of IL, Bruce Whitmarsh of MT, a number of dear friends in AZ, and longtime companion dog - Gus. She was preceded in death by her grandparents - Neil and Aili Ylitalo, step-father - Richard Reynolds, and aunt Ruth Whitmarsh. June will be deeply and dearly missed, and never forgotten.
A committal service will be on Friday, June 3, 2011 at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Chatham, at 11:30 a.m.
