Lee A. Robertson, age 80, of Magnusson Road, Chatham, died following a recent illness on Saturday morning, March 23, 2013 at Marquette General Hospital. She was born May 14, 1932 the daughter of the late Edward and Delcia (Mawger) Dahlman. Lee graduated from Rochester High School and briefly worked for Detroit Edison and Pontiac Motors. On August 4, 1951, she married Claude A. Robertson. Lee was a homemaker and raised their three children and also Claude's nephew and nieces. She helped out with Girl Scouts and she and Claude enjoyed bowling together. They had a camp on Magnusson Road, and they spent all of their family vacations there. There was always an excuse to go to the cabin. After Claude's retirement they made their property on Magnusson Road their permanent residence. They were married over fifty-five years when he preceded her in death on March 28, 2007. Lee was a volunteer at Marquette General Hospital and she was a member of the United Methodist Church in Trenary.

She is survived by her sons - David & Debbie Robertson of Lapeer, MI and Marc Robertson of Clarkston, MI; her daughter - Cynthia & Jay Geoit of Hilliard, OH; grandchildren - Justin (Nicole) , Derek, and Shannon Robertson, Ryan (Kristen) and Mitchell Geoit, and Kyle (Sam Hoover) and Carley Robertson; great-grandchildren - Jack, Brayden, Kinsley, and Braylin; numerous nieces and nephews including his nephew and nieces who Claude and Lee helped raise- Jeff Robertson (and his children Zachary, Rachael, Jordon, and Hannah), Wendy (Tom) Wagner (and their daughter Kenna), and Colette Robertson.

Services will be held at the United Methodist Church in Trenary on Thursday, March 28, 2013. Visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon. Pastor Sandy Kolder will conduct Lee's funeral service at 12:00 noon. Interment will be at the Limestone Township Cemetery in the spring and Lee will be escorted by her grandsons. Memorials may be made in Lee's name to the Trenary United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 201, Trenary, MI 49891
