Margaret "Marg" Hendricks, age 73 of Wooddale Road, Munising, died unexpectedly at her home on Saturday, May 7, 2011. She was born on May 15, 1937 in Carlton, MI to Fred and Helen Slatton. She married Gerald Hendricks on February 9, 1963. Marg enjoyed gardening, ceramics, and was an avid camper, but the thing she enjoyed the most was playing with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of forty-eight years - Jerry of Munising, son - Gary (Rita) Gilbert of Pontiac, MI; mother - Helen Slatton of Monroe, MI; sister - Carroll (Jim) Chupurdy; brothers - Thomas (Joan), Gary (Diane), Jerry, Marvin, Fred, and Robert (Penny) Slatton; grandchildren - Gary and Jason; and great-grandchildren - Rhyan, Graceland Ann, Mckensie, Noah, and Alex. Marg was preceded in death by her Son Greg Hendricks, and father Fred.
Visitation will be at the Bowerman Funeral Home Wednesday, May 11, 2011 from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. Marg's funeral service will begin at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
