Margette Emelia Schoenborn, age 85, of West Branch Road, Wetmore, died on Monday, July 30, 2007 at Marquette General Hospital. She was born July 20, 1922 in Parisville, Michigan to Joseph and Bertha (Mazure) Gwisdalla. Margette was the beloved wife of over sixty-nine years to Edward Schoenborn, mother of Eric Schoenborn and Sharon Loewe; sister to Norman, Richard, Loretta, and Dolores; grandmother of Michelle, James, Gregory, Michael, and Steven; and great-grandmother to Zella, Abigail, Noah, Christian, Cosmo, and Jacob.
Visitation will be held at the Bowerman Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. A Parish Vigil Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Fr. Chris Gardiner will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, August 3, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church in Munising. Interment will be at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Munising.
