Pamela Sue Gould, age 67, of Munising, died late Wednesday evening, September 25, 2019 at her home under the loving care of her family and North Woods Home Hospice. She was born in Marysville, Ohio on May 5, 1952 to the late John and Geraldine (Poole) Rausch. Pam grew up in Ohio and moved to the Upper Peninsula in 1979 to be closer to family. On September 7, 1985, she married Tom Gould and together they raised their family. Pam worked many years as a bartender, waitress, and cook at the Bear Trap. She took great pride in her eight year as the owner and operator of Whispering Pines Adult Foster Care facility. Pam’s caring personality spread to her family and she would help anyone who needed her, supporting nieces, nephews, and grandchildren at any turn. Pam was passionate about horses and loved going to the fairs and rodeos. She enjoyed camping, ceramics, scrapbooking, and gardening, but above all she loved being with family.
She is survived by her husband Tom Gould of Shingleton; children – Heidi Gould of Marquette, Jack (Angela) Gould of Manistique, and Heather Seymour of Munising; grandchildren – Sky, Joseph, Alex, Gregory, Nicolas Gould, Mikey Graves, Aryanna and Avery Seymore; great-grandchild – Braydon Gould; siblings - Lori (Keith Zellner) Monroe of Munising, Jerry Rausch of Boot Lake, and Kathy (Roy) Helms of Florida; God-sons – Kyle and Tyler Monroe; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pam was preceded in death by her parents - John and Geraldine; siblings – John “Robin” Rausch, Grace Roxine Rausch, and James W. “Jimmy” Rausch; and brother-in-law – Kim Monroe.
A celebration of Pam’s life will be on Sunday, September 29, 2019 at the Bear Trap Inn, N7294 Co Rd H-15, Shingleton, MI 49884 beginning at 2:00 p.m. fellowship and time for visiting will follow until 4:00 p.m.
