Patrick Carl Kjellin, age 60, died following a lengthy illness at his home on Pine Street on Thursday evening, November 6, 2014. Pat was born in Marquette, Michigan to the late Carl "Star" and Geraldine (Wise) Kjellin on June 21, 1954. He graduated from Wm. G. Mather High School in 1972 and then served in the U.S. Marine Corps. Pat then went to school at Northern to become a welder. He would work his trade and paint in the Upper Peninsula during the summer and then work while island hopping in the Caribbean during the winters. Pat loved both of his worlds. He is survived by family and friends Judi Colbus, George and Jan Boundy, Pam and Scott Peters, and their families. He was also preceded in death by his brother Michael Kjellin. Pat loved astronomy and the night skies... Thursday, November 6th was a full moon. There will be no public services.
