Limestone
Paul B. Anderson, age 92, of Limestone, died on Wednesday evening, March 15, 2017 at Munising Memorial Hospital. He was born in Munising on June 8, 1924 to Swan and Ellen (Paulson) Anderson. Paul grew up in Limestone and graduated from Eben High School. Paul worked on the family farm, drove school bus, and worked for Richmond Oil. He married Mamie Katherine Maki on September 16, 1972. Paul began employment at Kimberly Clark in 1973. He retired as rewinder helper on June 1, 1987. Paul was a faithful member of the Limestone Baptist Church. He served as Deacon, organist, and caretaker for many years. Paul and Mamie enjoyed traveling to different rummage sales and hosting their own sales. He also liked to fish and hunt in his younger years. Mamie and Paul were married forty-seven years when she preceded him in death on April 8, 2016.
Paul is survived by his son – Mark (Alyce) Anderson of Chatham and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Mamie, and siblings Ivan Anderson, Woodrow Anderson, Pearl Peterson, and Ethel Anderson.
Graveside services will be held at the Limestone Township Cemetery in Limestone on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. A time of fellowship will be held at the Calvary Free Lutheran Church in Eben following the graveside services.
