Randall "Randy" Hughart Pridemore

Randall Hughart Pridemore, age 91, of Gwinn, Michigan and formerly of Detroit, died Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Medilodge of Munising.  He was born on March 18, 1930 in Nallen, West Virginia to the late George and Leah (Carte) Pridemore.  Randy’s family moved to Detroit, Michigan when he was ten.  While at church, he met Lois J. Shiveley, and they were married on September 13, 1952.  Together they raised their four children.  Randy worked for many years as a drill press operator for DCT and Vistroll.  He enjoyed watching television, especial Matlock and M.A.S.H., and cheering on the Detroit Tigers.  Randy and Lois were active members of Faith Community Church in Livonia, Michigan.  Randy was a caring husband who enjoyed running errands for Lois, he even looked forward to getting his list and going shopping for her.  He was a wonderful father and husband and loved the Lord.

Randy is survived by his wife of sixty-nine years – Lois Pridemore of Gwinn; children – Jeff (Sarah) Pridemore of Gwinn, Craig (Evelyn) Pridemore of Redford, MI, and Renee (Robert) Hunter of Gwinn; son-in-law – Steven Patterson of Westland, MI; grandchildren – Brook, James, Randall, Jeffrey (Nina), and Mark Pridemore, and Emellie Hunter; great-granddaughter – Maura; and special niece - Tara Molner.  He was preceded in death by his parents George and Leah and daughter Leeann Patterson.
