Randolf “Randy” Charles Niedzwiecki, age 71, of Munising, died early Sunday morning, June 12, 2016 at the Tendercare Health Center following a brief illness. He was born in Trenton, Michigan on October 22, 1944 to the late Joseph and Tillie (Fleck) Niedzwiecki. Randy was raised in Munising and attended Wm. G. Mather High School and then the Skill Center in Marquette for welding. In the mid 1960’s, he went to work for Ford Motor Company as a welder and quickly progressed into the glass plant where he worked as a set-up man. Randy retired after thirty years of service and returned to Munising in 1996. He loved taking rides, walking his dogs, eating, blowing snow in his neighborhood, and taking daily trips to the Dogpatch.
Randy is survived by two brothers – Joe (Linda) Niedzwiecki of Munising and Jim (Ruth) Niedzwiecki of Lady Lake, FL; two sisters – Camie (Larry) Miller of Marquette and Gail (Dan) Woelfel of Maricopa, AZ; four nephews – J.B. Niedzwiecki, Aaron (Ryan) Woelfel, Mike (Linda) Miller, and Scott Miller; three nieces – Chris Niedzwiecki, Amy (Tim) Barrett, and Tress (Patrick) Vrba; and ten great nieces and nephews. Randy was preceded in death by his parents.
