Randy Mitchell Hudson, age 56, of Munising, died unexpectedly in the emergency room of Munising Memorial Hospital early Thursday morning, June 15, 2017. He was born on October 14, 1960 in Owosso, Michigan. After high school, Randy worked as a welder on ships in Mobile, Louisiana. He then served four years in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany. Randy married Rochelle Anne Hebert on September 1, 2012. He was working at Neenah Paper for12 S.C.I. at the time of his death. Randy enjoyed classic rock and playing his guitar. He loved being outside and on the water. Randy was an avid fisherman and hunter. He also enjoyed gardening and was always able to find something to smile about.
Randy is survived by his wife – Rochelle Hudson of Munising; daughters – Nancy (Jason) Halliburton of Ann Arbor and Mellissa (Todd) Gould of Shingleton; grandchildren -Brandon, Nancy, Neveah, Terriyanna, Dyamond, Devon, and Nikki; step-daughter – Rachel Edwards and her children Brandon and Payton; mother – Laura “Kay” Carter of Tower, MI; father – Maynard Hudson of Munising; brother – Rick (Laura) Hudson of Colorado; sister – Lisa Miro of Florida; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Randy was preceded in death by grandson Dillon Gould.
Military honors will be conducted at the D.A.V. / V.V.A. Hall at E8025 Jingle Bell Lane in Christmas, Michigan on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at 12:00 noon. Following the military rites, there will be a time of visiting and fellowship until 5:00 p.m.
