Gladstone / Chatham
Richard William “Woodsie” Koski, Jr., age 55 of Gladstone, and formerly of Green Bay, WI and Chatham, died Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, WI following his battle with Covid-19. He was born on June 5, 1966 in Pontiac, MI to Richard “Dick” and Penny (Bauman) Koski, Sr. Rich’s family moved to Munising and then eventually Chatham where he grew up. Rich graduated from Eben High School in 1984, where he was a standout basketball player, and was a member of the 1000-point club. He then earned a bachelor’s degree in Earth Science from Northern Michigan University. Rich married Sandra Immonen and together they had their son Jared. Rich worked for Kimberly Clark in Munising while living in Harvey, and then transferred to Kimberly Clark in Appleton, before becoming a machine operator at Tufco in Green Bay. He was an avid Green Bay Packer fan and loved to golf and bowl. Rich also looked forward to his little getaways, traveling with his dear friend and partner Tina. For those who knew Rich, they were always ready for his sense of humor that usually ended up with him agitating the ones he knew and loved.
Rich is survived by his son – Jared Koski of Appleton; parents – Penny and Dick Koski, Sr. of Chatham; siblings – Karen Clark of Green Bay, Kristina (Todd) Vantassel of Chili, WI, and David (Tania) Koski of Chatham; life partner – Tina Ravet of Gladstone; and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
