Patrick "Rick" Ryan, age 62, of 1420 Nestor Street, Munising, died unexpectedly at home on Friday afternoon, June 26, 2009. In his retirement, Rick enjoyed being "soccer mom" to his daughter Rachel and attending his son Daniel's NMU football games. He was a great cook, neighborhood lookout, and loved the Detroit Lions. The Ryan household was a great place to be on Football Sunday. Rick had the best snacks, quite the spread. Rick loved ice fishing during the winter and "remodeling" the ice shack during the spring and summer.
