Robert Kingsley Case

Robert Kingsley Case, age 72, of Munising, died following a two year illness late Sunday morning, September 5, 2021 with Liz by his side at Munising Memorial Hospital.  Bob was born on April 25, 1949 in Ann Arbor, Michigan to Gene and Shirley (Fitzgerald) Case.  He grew up in Ensign Township and graduated from Rapid River High School in 1968.  Bob worked out in Colorado for a period of time, he worked on the railroad in Gladstone, and did other maintenance and painting jobs.  Bob moved to Munising in the early 1980s and met Liz Thompson.  Bob enjoyed camping, canoeing, fishing, and spending time at home with his other half, Liz.  He also like hanging out with his friends at Corktown and The Barge.

Bob is survived by his longtime partner and loving friend – Liz Thompson of Munising and numerous cousins.  He was preceded in death by his parents.
