Trenary
Robert "Bob" Odlum, age 84, of Erickson Road, Trenary, died on Monday, September 3, 2007 at Marquette General Hospital. He was born June 3, 1923 in Croswell, Michigan, to the late John and Alfa (Gardner) Odlum. Bob was in the Hospital Corps of the United States Navy during World War II. He married Grace in the mid 1940's and together they raised their three children. Bob worked all over the U.S. as a mason. His work brought him to the U.P. in the early 70's. Bob married Barbara Stankovich-Erickson on September 12, 1994. He loved deer hunting and cheering for the Detroit Lions and Tigers. When he was younger, he was very active in American Legion baseball and was an outstanding pool player. More recently Bob enjoyed spending time with is yellow lab Dutches. He was a proud member of the American Legion for over forty-seven years.
Bob is survived by his wife of thirteen years - Barbara Odlum of Trenary; daughter - Nancy Still of Miami, FL; son - Phil (Gloria) Odlum of Lansing, MI; brother - Teddy (Zelma) Odlum of Alpena, MI; sister Virginia Weller of Croswell; grandchildren Jason, Chad, Tiffany, and Christian; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents - John and Alfa; daughter - Sharon Odlum; and son-in-law - Joe Still.
