Rose Christine (Savaglio) Inman "Nana Rose", age 91, passed from this earth and entered heaven on Saturday, October 25, 2014. She was born on June 25, 1923 in Kenosha, Wisconsin to Bruno and Rosaria (Aiello) Savaglio and was the last surviving child of ten. Rose married Frank Glenn Inman on June 24, 1946. She was a loving woman who had an amazing talent for making her special brownies and wonderful banana bread. Rose always had a way of making you feel welcome whenever you set foot in her door. One was considered very special to her if you received one of her special handmade items such as a christening outfit, a pillow or garter for your special wedding day, a giant Raggedy Ann and Andy, or any special handmade 4-5 piece outfits to fit the kids complete with bonnets. As a Navy veteran's wife, she served her community by serving as commander of the Women's Auxiliary of the DAV. Rose handmade bags that hung on the back of wheelchairs for the veterans at Jacobetti. During WWII, she worked in a factory that made airplane parts and was known as a "Rosie the Riveter." Rose could be found every evening before bed saying her prayers for all of those that she loved. She prayed for each one by name and even as she got older, she always had her prayers written out so she would not forget anyone. Rose is survived by her sons - Frank (Martha) Inman and Bruce Inman; daughter - Bevyjean (Ken) Heyrman; grandchildren - Brian (Michelle) Inman, Frank Inman, Angela Inman, Ken (Amy) Heyrman, Rob (Wendy) Heyrman, Jessica (Branden) Hoiska, Sarah Heyrman; and many great grandchildren; her loving adopted daughter - Judy (Dave) Chartrand; sisters-in-law - Mary Jane Tyson, Janet Savaglio, and Erika Savaglio; and numerous nieces and nephews and anyone else who knew her as Mom or Nana. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of forty years Frank, and her siblings - Mary, Viola, Millie, Carmen, Albert, Louis, Mike, Fred and Peter. Private services will be held for Rose's family on Friday, October 31, 2014. A special thanks to Don and Stephanie from UPCAP that made it possible to keep Rose at home for the past seven years. Rose and her family have been blessed with the love and support of family and friends.
