Sarah Grace and Tessa Marie Kolbus, premature twin daughters of Derek and Steffanie (Saffell) Kolbus, were born on Friday, May 2, 2008 at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor. Sarah died on May 2nd and Tessa died on May 17th. The girls are survived by their parents - Derek and Steffanie Kolbus of Munising; big brother - Blake Kolbus; big-sister - Nadia Kolbus; grandparents - Donna Kolbus of Munising, Mike (Becky) Kolbus of Munising, MJ Greene of Sevierville, TN, and Bob Saffell of Melbourne, FL; aunts and uncles - Deidre Kolbus, Stacy Velasquez, Jason (Ashley) Saffell, and Robin Kolbus; cousins - Michael Kolbus III, Adrianna Saffell and Naomi Saffell. Uncle Michael Kolbus II preceded the girls in death. Graveside services will be conducted by Pastor Jason LaFlamme at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Munising on Friday, August 22, 2008 at 7:00 p.m.
