Susan M. Fleischman (nee Fink), age 70, of Marquette, and formerly of Munising, died early Sunday, February 19, 2017 at the Hospice House Hiland Cottage in Petoskey, Michigan. She was born on December 10, 1946 in Marquette, MI to the late Wilbur and Miriam (Dolan) Fink. Susan grew up in Munising and graduated from William G. Mather High School. She married Paul Fleischman on January 29, 2000. Susan enjoyed picnics, hikes in the woods, and trips to the beach, but her main focus was her family and caring for her sons.
She is survived by her husband – Paul Fleischman of Indian River, MI; son – Jason Collister of Ishpeming; grandchildren – Drew and Malina Collister; siblings – Andrea Everett of Munising and John (Marie) Fink of Rudyard; nieces Brenda, Linda, Paula, Carla, and Kayla; and nephew – Jay. Susan was preceded in death by her parents -Wilbur and Miriam; sons – Larry and Bryan Collister; and brother-in-law – Russ Everett.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at the Bowerman Funeral Home in Munising from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. Rev. Sandra Kolder will conduct Susan’s funeral service in the Funeral Home Chapel at 6:00 p.m. Interment will be at the Maple Grove Cemetery in the Spring.
