Teri Nicole (Lancour) Ketzler, age 42, of Reno, Nevada and formerly of Munising, died on Saturday, September 17, 2011 following a four year illness with liver disease. She was born in Munising on December 28, 1968 to Joseph and Marion (Starzyk) Lancour. Teri attended Munising Public Schools and graduated from Munising High School in 1987. In 1988, she moved to Reno and worked in administrative accounting for Harrah's and the Silver Legacy Casinos for several years before her health failed. Teri married Michael Ketzler on June 15, 1996 in Lake Tahoe and together they raised their son, Andrew.
She is survived by her husband - Mike Ketzler of Reno; son - Andrew, age 12 at home; step-daughter - Ashley Ketzler of the Detroit area; parents - Joe and Joan Lancour of Munising and Marion Lancour of Howell, MI; father-in-law - Herb Ketzler of Reno; step-sister - Michelle (Kevin) Dunham of Munising; step-brother - Scott (Pam) Peters of Munising; sister-in-law - Lynn (Andrew) Kremers of Reno; niece and nephew - Emma and Tyler; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and her treasured dog - Lucy. Teri was preceded in death by her grandparents and mother-in-law Georgia Ketzler.
