Terrence “Terry” J. Boucher, died on Tuesday morning, March 25, 2025 at UPHS – Marquette at the age of 69. He was born on December 22, 1955, the second son to the late Paul and Lorraine (Boyak) Boucher, Sr. Terry grew up in Munising and graduated from Wm. G. Mather High School in 1975. He entered into the U.S. Air Force and served for sixteen years. He was stationed in Germany, KI Sawyer, and New York. Terry was discharged and then joined the U.S. Army National Guard until his retirement. He worked at Denman’s and Madigan’s Hardware Stores. Terry married Nancy Mae (Ely) Benson on December 8, 2017. He was heartbroken when she preceded him in death on May 3, 2023. Terry was an avid Green Bay Packer fan and enjoyed watching the games. He also liked playing in the fantasy football league. Terry was a member of the Moose Lodge and the American Legion. In his younger years, he enjoyed tinkering with electronics and was good at disassembling and reassembling things when they needed to be fixed. Terry enjoyed visiting with friends and family and enjoyed trips camping with Nancy’s family.
Terry is survived by his brother – Paul “Skip” Boucher, Jr. of Davison, MI; nieces and nephews – Gabriel (Rose Daly) Boucher, Emily Judd, Benjamin Boucher, Nathan (Alisa) Boucher, and Colleen Boucher; grand nieces and nephews – Alexis, Sophia, Carter, Anna, Alyssa, and Alita; stepchildren – Mary Pietsch, Terry (Lisa) Compton, Larry Compton, Lisa (Tom VanDrese) Mlostek, and Waldo “Patrick” (Fran) Benson; step daughter-in-law – Candice Compton; step grandchildren – Harrison Compton, Natalie Compton, Stephanie Compton, Victoria Nava, Matthew Nava, Kyle Benson, Chris Mlostek, Brianna Trombley, Dustin Lee Mackie, Teagan Compton, and Tristan Compton; aunts – Carolyn Boyak, Joyce Boyak, and Deanna Boyak; uncle – Tooker Hamilla; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents Paul and Lorraine, wife Nancy, stepson – Gary Compton.
