Thomas O. Jordan, age 64, of Woodland Avenue, AuTrain, died early Friday evening, July 9, 2010 at Marquette General Hospital. He was born on September 1, 1945 in Newberry, MI to the late William and Verna (Rosala) Jordan. Tom grew up in Newberry, graduating from the Newberry High School. He married Sheryl O'Connor on May 31, 1985. Tom worked for thirty years for the State of Michigan's Department of Transportations (MDOT) when he retired in 1997. The day he retired, Tom and Sheryl moved to the Upper Peninsula. He was an avid car enthusiast and enjoyed dabbling in photography. Tom was a member of the Gold Wings Touring Association - Destination Friendship.
He is survived by his wife of twenty-five years - Sheryl Jordan of AuTrain; brother - Bill (Mary) Jordan of Gaylordsville, CT; and sister-in-law Vivian Jordan, of Lupton, MI. Tom was preceded in death by his parents - William and Verna; brother - Melvin Jordan; sister - Janette Bergstrom; and stepson Corey Huff.
