Timothy A. Anderson, age 60, of Wetmore, died Sunday afternoon, November 4, 2018 at his home under the loving care of his family and North Woods Hospice.   He was born in Munising on November 7, 1957 to the late E. Willard and Janice (Perry) Anderson.  Tim graduated from Wm. G. Mather High School in 1976 and went to work at Timber Products.  He married his high school sweetheart, Sheryl Bernard, on August 12, 1977 and together they raised their two children.  Tim went to work at Kimberly Clark in 1977 and retired as an operator in the Specialties Department in 2017.  He was a talented wood worker with a lathe and enjoyed the simple pleasure of watching the lake and wildlife at his home.  Tim was a character and prankster with a great sense of humor.  He enjoyed gardening, being outdoors, and taking his daily trips to town to stop at Holiday and get a scratch lottery ticket.  Tim cherished his family and his pets.  He had magic sleeping powers over his granddaughters and lovingly supplied them with snacks and sweets.

Tim is survived by his wife of over forty-one years – Sheryl Anderson of Wetmore; their children – Felicia (Fred) Livermore of Little Suamico, WI and Timmy Anderson of Wetmore; two granddaughters – Linleigh and Emersyn; sister – Beth (Bob) Soles of Christmas; parents-in-law – Russ and Bonnie Bernard; in-laws – Lynne Bowerman, Jake Bernard, Sandra Davis, Jude Holloway, Russ Bernard, and Sue (Mark) Jokela; aunts – Pat Cromell and Char Pauls; uncle – Dave Perry; nieces and nephews – Sheila Belanger, Cody Soles, Stephen (Kathryn) Bernard, Bruce (Renee) Davis, Angela Davis, Nathaniel Holloway, Isaiah (Tiffany) Holloway, Anna Hicks, Christopher (Jessica) Bernard, Brian Bernard, Jordan Bernard, Alex Bernard, Molly (Steve) Mayhew, Jadee Jokela, and Jessica Jokela.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents, mother-in-law – Molly Bernard, niece Stephanie Kincade, nephew-in-law – Troy Hicks, and brothers-in-law – Bob Bowerman, Ron “Peanut” Davis, David Holloway, and Scott Stelmaszek.

A celebration of Tim’s life will be held on Friday, November 9, 2018 at the Munising Township Hall in Wetmore.  Visiting time with family and friends will be from 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.  At 6:30 p.m. there will be an opportunity for family and friends to  share and hear stories and memories of Tim.
