William "Bill" Niemi

William "Bill" B. Niemi, Sr., age 63, of N253 Winters Road, Trenary, died late Tuesday evening, April 3, 2007 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on May 22, 1943 to the late William and June (nee Shepley) Niemi in Trenary. Bill graduated from the Michigan School for the Deaf in June of 1961 and then went onto college for two years. He then worked for General Motors for sixteen years. Bill was a member of the Easy Riders Motorcycle Club for many years. He enjoyed motorcycles, woodworking, welding, and just about anything he could do with his hands.
Bill is survived by his two sons - Billy Niemi of Trenary amd Robby Keel of Howell, MI; daughters - Echo (Jason ) Baird of Flint and Dandell Stevens of San Diego, CA;brother - Rick Niemi of Milwaukee; sister - Trudy (Luke) Luukkonen of Trenary; aunt - Ruth Chenail of Trenary; ten grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents William and June Niemi.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
