Wilma G. Fryman, age 96, of Munising and formerly of Kettering, OH, died Thursday, February 13, 2014 at the Superior Health Haven in Munising. She was born in Brookville, Ohio to the late Ralph and Stella (Comer) Neff. Wilma enjoyed baking coffee cake from her family recipe, and sharing them with friends and family for Christmas. She loved being surrounded by her grandchildren, filling her home with them, feeding them, and listening to them laugh.
Wilma is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Barry and Diane Hoover of Munising, nine grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and sister Shirley Kastens of Kettering. She was preceded in death by her first husband Philip Hoover who died serving in WWII, husband Richard Fryman in 2004,a brother Berlin R. Neff in 2009 and great-granddaughter Bridget Brock.
Visitation will be on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at the Bowerman Funeral Home in Munising, MI from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Pastor Elisabeth Zant will conduct Wilma's funeral at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Visitation will be on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at the Hope United Methodist Church, 5980 Wilmington Pike, Dayton, OH, from 11:00 a.m. to the start of the memorial service at 12:00 noon.
